Cyber Cafe
Cyber Cafe is a drop-in session where you can spend time doing what you want to do but with the support of a tutor. Because of its popularity, we are now running two sessions each week.
Friday mornings from 10.00am - 12noon
Friday afternoons from 1.00pm - 3.00pm
Just drop in, surf the net, use our UK online facilities or get support with what you want to do. If you prefer to use your own laptop please bring it with you and we can connect you to our wireless network.
Each session is £3.00. Term time only.
Move on with Maths Level 1 & 2
Tuesdays 9.30am - 12.30noon starting 20/09/11 (16 weeks) &
Thursays 3.30pm - 5.30pm starting 22/09/11 (24 weeks)
This course is designed to enable you to brush up your Maths skills and work towards the National Qualification in Maths (Level 1 or 2).
It could also give you the confidence to help your child with Maths.
Course cost is FREE Accredited
Move on with English Level 1 & 2
Thursdays 9.30am - 12.30noon starting 22/09/11 (16 weeks)&
Tuesdays 3.30pm - 5.30pm starting 20/09/11 (24 weeks)
This course is designed to enable you to brush up your English skills and work towards the National Qualification in English (Level 1 or 2). It could also give you the confidence to help your child with English. The course is 40 hours long and will run for 16 weeks, 2.5 hours each week.
Course cost is FREE Accredited
GCSE in English
Wednesday 1.00pm - 3.00pm starting 21/09/11
This course is to perpare students for AQA English. There will be written coursework including a Shakespeare play and short stories. There will be 2 examinations at the end of the course and a need for some home study.
The course is 60 hours long and will run for 30 weeks, 2 hours each week.
Course cost is £162 Accredited
GCSE Maths
Monday 9.30 - 11.30am starting 19/09/11
The aim of the course is to develop mathematical skills perparing students for the AQA Examination at Intermediate and higher level. However, anyone who simply wishes to enhance their numerical skills and knowledge is welcome.
The course is 60 hours long and will run for 30 weeks, 2 hours each week.
Course cost is £162 Accredited
