This course is designed to help recognise your own skills and qualities in relation to the job market. It will help you to search effectually for relevant jobs of the most effective way to apply and increase your chance of an interview.
This course is 10 hours long and over 5 weeks some flexibility on time can be accommodated by prior arrangement with your tutor.

Introduction to Using the Internet 
Thursdays 1.00pm- 3.30 starting 29/09/11
This course is an introduction to using the internet. It will show you how to seach the internet effectively for information using a range of search engines.
This course is 10 hours long and over 4 weeks, 2.5 hours each week.

OCR Award in Employability Skills
Monday 1.00pm - 3.30pm starting 31/10/11
This is a Level OCR Certificated course for those who have never perviously been in employment or after a break. This course is designed to build your confidence and opportunity to develop skills in a number of different areas tailored to your needs. These could include a CV or letter writing, interview techniques, being financially capable and making the most of a work placement. This course has 3 units. Some flexibility on times can be accommodated by prior arrangement with your tutor.
This course is hours long and will run over 8 weeks, 2.5 hours each week.
Course cost is £69.00 Accredited

BCS Level 1 iTQ User
(formerly ECDL Essentials)
Thursdays 6.00pm - 9.00pm starting 03/11/11.
This qualification has been designed to give users a basic introduction to computing with relevant skills in using the basic tools required for an IT user today. There are three modules.
IT User Fundamentals
Using Email and the Internet
Security for IT Users
This course is 36 hours long and will run over 12 weeks, 3 hours each week.
Course cost is £110 which incudes examianation fees.  Accredited.
BCS Level 2 will follow in the new year.

Diploma in Business & Administration
The aim of these qualifications is to recognise the skills and competences of candidates in the workplace.
The candidate will have 9 months in which to complete their portfolio. During this time they will be assessed and observed by their assessor. There will be some flexibility built in to the course to allow for different working patterns and this will be arranged witht he assessor on an individual basis.
The awarding body for this qualification is OCR (Oxford Cambridge & RSA Examinations). Students may progress on to a Diploma  in Business & Administration.
Course cost is Level 2 - £2.50 & Level 3 - £350 Accredited.

Beginners Digital Imaging 
Thursdays 1.00pm - 3.30pm starting 01/11/11
Make the most of your digital camera. This course will show you how to manipulate images, remove red eye, colour manipulation, layering, cloning and printing.
This course is 20 hours long and will run for 8 weeks, 2.5 hours each week.
Course cost is £40  Non accredited.  

Buying & Selling on eBay 
Monday 6.00pm - 9.00pm starting 31/10/11.
Do you want to know how to buy and sell or even browse on eBay? We will show you how to set up an account, explain payment options and think about security issues.
The couse is 12 hours long and will run for 4 weeks, 3 hours each week.
Course cost is £32.00  Non accredited.

Introduction to Desk Top Publishing
Tuesdays 1.00pm - 3.30pm starting 27/09/11
Using Microsoft Publisher 2007 you will learn skills to enable you to create attractive posters, cards and leaflets.
This course is 10 hours long and will run for 4 weeks, 2.5 hours each week.
Course cost is £26.00

Skype & Facebook introduction
Saturday 10.00am - 4.00pm starting 15/10/11
Do you want to understand more about Facebook, how to create your profile and setting you privacy to your account? Also Learn how to use Skype to communicate with family and friends around the world. This session will show you how to set up a Skype account and show you how to communicate using instant messagiing, voice calls and video calls using a webcam.
Course cost is £20.00 and will include a buffet lunch.
